Statement
God is dead—writes Nietzsche—and from this resetting, from the whiteness that this death has engendered, instead of reading the end of everything, I have glimpsed the freedom to create anything; actively approaching my nihilistic vision of existence.
Man no longer has a goal, and perhaps because of this lack he himself is lacking.What is missing is to accept—as Cioran would add—that man is who he is not, and from his own caducity and the ephemerality of his own becoming, man must see the only possibility of doing, of going further.
If man is a rope stretched over nothingness, nothingness from which he comes and to which he will return, the game is to try to cross this rope.
The macro theme of my work, in fact, is the concept of the end and the attempt to overcome it. Through many versions of myself, I hope and at the same time delude myself that I will survive death, in the utopian balance between reality and fiction. In fact, this limit does not exist and the concept of theatricality lapses as there is no point where life ends and art and performance begin.
